Rewarding “beyond expectations”

Michael Howe presented with the trophy from Ben Turtle of category sponsors Savills, after 2020 Architects win Belfast Telegraph award for “Residential Architectural Practice of the Year”.

It was with great honour 2020 Architects brought back to Ballymoney the award for ‘Residential Architectural Practice of the Year’ in recent the Belfast Telegraph Property Awards, 2016.

Sponsored by Savills, the award now takes pride position in our office and is a testament to the hard work of the 2020 Team and our wonderful clients.

In receiving the award, it was said: “The judges were particularly impressed by the company’s work in Virtual Reality, allowing their residential clients to experience their houses before they are built. A recent client summed up the practice that “it not only listened, but had the ability to take our ideas beyond our expectations.”

The ceremony, hosted by Pamela  Ballantine, was held at the Ramada Hotel, Shaws Bridge.  Sponsored by Propertynews.com, it was the ideal opportunity to network and meet everyone passionate about property and architecture.

It has been an eventful November for 2020 Architects. At the beginning of the month, we won the UK-wide award for ‘One to Watch Company’ in the Construction Computing Awards, 2016.

Our Virtual Reality suite has attracted a lot of attention and recently got the seal of approval from a group of students from Saint Killian’s College, Carnlough. Being a progressive and exciting architectural practice, we are delighted to see our VR come into use in house design and also to inspire the future generation of architects.
