Student Home kitchen Dining Renovation by Hannah Morgan
About the project: Myself and my partner are both at university studying Architectural Technology and Management.
With a great love for housing and design we purchased our own home last year and carried out renovations throughout with the most extensive work carried out in the kitchen area. This involved knocking down a wall to create a more open plan ground floor area. We then installed a breakfast bar as there wasn’t much space for a dining table.
Most of the work, including painting and yes trying to install that new sink was carried out by ourselves with the help of my wonderful dad. This renovation project involved really making the most of what you have and trying to maximize functionality for a small space.
We like to think of our student home renovation as a statement to show that life is basically what you make of it!
